Modesto's annual Celebration of Lights Parade is on the first Saturday of December and includes family-friendly events such as a Breakfast with Santa, Dickens' Faire and Modesto Certified Farmer's Market, and our annual Holiday Parade. Following the parade will be a traditional Rockin' Holiday Tree Lighting and a Downtown Rockin' Holiday Extravaganza occurring every weekend until Christmas.
Annual Breakfast With Santa
Start the day off with a delicious pancake Breakfast with Santa at the Senior Center, 211 Bodem Street in Modesto. Breakfast is served from 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and includes live music, crafts for the kids, story time with Mrs. Claus and of course, a visit with the big guy!
Dickens' Faire and Farmers Market
From 8 a.m. - 3 p.m., take a step back in time at the Dickens' Faire and Modesto Certified Farmers Market on 15th Street between I and J Streets. The McHenry Mansion will be fully decorated as a Victorian Christmas and there will be crafts and activities for the kiddos at the McHenry Museum.
